These trees are grown on a Fraser Fir Integrated Pest Management Farm, a nature friendly farm.

IPM methods include:

  • Scouting for pests

  • Maintaining ground covers

  • Using biological controls

 

IPM results include:

  • Growing a better tree, while protecting our natural resources

  • Minimum use of pesticides and fertilizers

  • Greater biodiversity

  • Stabilizing top soil

  • Protecting water quality
